I am a visual journalist from China. Currently based in New York City. I earned degrees in Journalism and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University in New York.

 

My personal experiences have shaped my desire for true stories. As well as capturing inspiring stories, I aspire to discover the magnificence within the mundane and ordinary individuals and tell the underrepresented stories. My professional experiences have allowed me to confidently showcase my creativity in documentary photography, still photography, video shooting, and visual editing, and I also understand how to create visuals that convey compelling stories.

My lens unfailingly guides me toward veracity.
